![]() It seems like everyone except for me has been able to solve the issue. Ive tried testing out different compatibility modes, running as an admin, doing the Data Execution Prevention thing, reinstalling the game, reinstalling Steam, and trying in another resolution. ![]() I have Windows 8. Im not good with technological terminology so please try to dumb down your answers for me Id really appreciate any other suggestions. I used to have a physical copy of the game which worked on this laptop previously. Dont have it anymore, so got it on Steam, if that adds to anything. EDIT: Right. Specs. I dont know what information is helpful, so here: System: Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) Model: HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC Processor: Intel Core i5-3210M DirectX Version: DirectX 11 Not sure what to add. Vice City Unhandled Exception .Exe Than ChangeSomeone recommended the following: If you can not play this game even you try compatibility setting and DEP list, try to delete gta-vc.exe than change the testapp.exe name to gta-vc.exe.
